Glow in the dark contacts
By dan1e.
I've seen a recent trend in specialty contact lenses. Everyone is trying to do everyone else one better in turning heads! Back in the day it was not unusual to see chicks going around showing off the common blue color contacts that were that off fuzzy blue which does not quite look right because their normal eye color is deep brown or black. Then later on I started noticing all sorts of color changes with grays and purples too. Its always been a rut for those of us with dark colored eyes to wear the light colored contacts because the color just never looked as cool. But now, technology has brought out a myriad of really sweet options that people with any eye color can play with. I have seen red eyes contacts, hypnosis effect contacts, stars in your eyes contacts, and a nighttime favorite of glow in the dark contact lenses. Some are more subtle than others and can be worn daily without causing too much commotion (like at school or work). Others are mostly for special events like parties, clubs, or costumed events. These specialty contact lenses always add the finishing touch to whatever may be going on in your life. They will always make one of the biggest impact so choose wisely. I have seen so many, seriously... hundreds of options in contact lenses that it has been pretty tough making a decisions. I don't have to worry about the expense of having prescriptions made out after choosing which lenses I want, so that is a plus for me. Most of the really unique contact lenses have to be purchases on-line, but a select few are available through prescriptions from your local eye doctor. But basically, specialty contact lenses are worth the wait and wear. Like I mentioned before, the options are endless...even for those of us with darker colored eyes. Also, the impact is more than half the fun when it comes time to show them off!
